Dragon’s Hoard: Legends and Lattes

Hello friends,

Today is a day to just relax and take it easy. As I sit here, refreshing cup of iced tea in hand and surrounded by small furry friends, I am filled with the desire to curl up with a cozy book and let my stress melt away. The most difficult decision to make of course is which book today? There are so many great answers to that. Too many in fact! As I gaze across the menagerie of books before me, a small text tucked carefully into it’s nook catches my eye. A more recent addition to my hoard. And a perfect pick for today. Without further ado, allow me to present today’s treasure!

Dragon’s Hoard: Legends and Lattes

This delightful tale is the perfect companion for a day of rest and relaxation. An adorable and wholesome romance story set against the backdrop of a world of adventure and magic. Right up our alley already, right? And what’s better than our wonderful heroines meeting in a café? Having them run it too! The snacks they sell all sound mouthwateringly delightful. I have to resist the urge to start baking every time Thimble produces a new treat. And the café itself feels like I could step into the book and feel right at home. All of the renovations and improvements they make create such a cozy little atmosphere. And it feels so thoughtful in how it’s presented. I’d have to do so much research to come even close. Trust me, I’ve tried to come up with cute shops like that off the cuff when running RPGs, it uh… doesn’t come anywhere close to Travis’s descriptions. Have I mentioned the characters yet? Because I love them. They not only have wonderful little quirks, but each one introduced feels like they fill a new space in the story that complements the others.

Legends and Lattes was a delightful and cozy tale that was just the thing I needed to sit down with after a long day of work. Maybe I should get some friends together and start a café. We could have a little reading corner with comfy seats. And a cool writing corner to do writing sprints. And- you know I realize I’m going to quickly run out of corners at this rate. I’ll have to put some more thought into the floor plan. Until next time.

Onwards to adventure!

  1. I really enjoyed my book, and didn’t know that cozy fantasy was a thing – or that I would want more of it! Your review was wonderfully cozy as well, and I was pleased to see that you also liked the book (I’ve seen so many people recently harping on it unfairly…they just don’t appreciate a good read when they have one).
